I started teaching in 2022.

I became a teacher because I struggled throughout school and wanted to provide a better learning experience for future students. In college, I focused on researching best teacher practices and am working to implement them in my classroom to ensure all my students receive the best education possible.

Outside the Classroom:
I spend most of my time with my husband and our four pets - 1 dog and 3 cats. We love hiking with our dog, squeezing onto the couch to watch movies with our cats, and going to Pistons games. Of course, I also spend a lot of time reading. Some of my favorite books are The Street Lawyer by John Grisham, The Martian by Andy Weir, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith.
