I am highly qualified to teach K-8 science. I currently teach 6th and 7th grade science.

I started teaching in 2009. I began my career at a middle school in Colorado where I taught for 5 years. Then I returned to Michigan to continue teaching in middle school. This year is my second year at Richmond Middle School. 
 

Outside of the Classroom:
In addition to my teaching duties, I am co-coordinator for green schools program and the Spanish club. 

I grew up in North Branch, MI where I was drum major of the marching band and participated on the track team.  While at MSU for my bachelors degree, I was a member of the Spartan Marching Band in the colorguard section. 

I have ran a marathon and several half marathons. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, including my husband, son, and daughter.  We love to travel and spending time outside.
