Rachael Churchill

Classes: I am highly qualified to teach K-6 (self-contained) and 6th/7th/8th grade Social Studies and Science.  This is my 8th year at RMS. I will be teaching 6th grade Science and Social Studies as well as the Informational Text class for 6th grade.

Education:
Eastern Michigan University- Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education
Central Michigan University- Currently working towards my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.

About Me:

I am a proud Richmond High School graduate that was given the opportunity to come home to Richmond and teach in the district that I grew up in.  I have had the opportunity to live all over the country as a military family which allowed me to teach in the States of Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and for the Department of Defense.   I have three sons. Chase is  at Wayne State University, Cole is  at Central Michigan University, and Caden is a student at RHS. 

 I love all things SPORTS!! I am the Head Coach for the 8th grade Girls Basketball team, an assistant coach for the JV Softball team at RHS. I am involved and support other sports over at RHS as well. 

I have known that I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age.  I truly find it an honor to be trusted with educating your child. This is my 24th year of teaching, and I am just as passionate about teaching as I was my first year.  .
