I started teaching in 1995.
I am a fifth generation educator. Education is in my blood.
This is my 13th year as Richmond Middle School’s Principal. Prior to becoming principal, I was the assistant principal/athletic director here at Richmond for the previous eight years. Before going into administration, I was a teacher (Biology, Mathematics, Computers) and coach (Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Wrestling) for five years.
I attended Michigan State University for two and a half years then transferred and graduated from Central Michigan University. I received my Master’s degree in educational leadership from Saginaw Valley University.
We believe that education is a shared responsibility and by establishing a two-way street line of communication, children will do better in school. Of course, being a parent is the most important role anyone can have. You are your child’s first and most crucial teacher. Therefore, if education is a priority to you, it will also be a priority for your child.
