I am highly qualified to teach grades K-5, in a self contained classroom and social studies, grades 6-8.  I am currently teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grade social studies.

I started teaching in 2012.

This will be my eleventh year teaching at Richmond Community Schools. Being able to teach in my hometown has been an amazing experience and I'm very grateful for that opportunity.   Richmond is a great place to work because of the outstanding staff, students and parents. I look forward to many more great years working at Richmond Community Schools.  

Outside of the Classroom:
I enjoy spending time with my family and working on my lawn.  I have an energetic four year old daughter who keeps me busy on most days.  I'm an avid college football fan and love to watch the University of Tennessee play on Saturdays in the fall.  If I get free time, I always enjoy reading or playing a round of golf.
