I am highly qualified to teach grades K-8, in a self-contained classroom.  I am currently teaching Kindergarten.

I started teaching in 2013

I decided to become teacher when I was in 9th grade.  I knew I wanted a career where I could make a difference in the lives of others.  As I thought about different careers and different people in my life who had made an impact on me, I knew teaching would be the right choice for me.   I want to be remembered by my students not only as their educator, but somebody they could trust and feel safe and comfortable around.

Outside of the Classroom

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband and I have been married for 14 years and have two beautiful daughters, Emma (11), and Brooklyn (8).  I enjoy spending time outside (when the weather is warm!), taking pictures, and shopping!  It is a great pleasure to be teaching in Richmond where I attended school, k-12th grade.
